There are two types of allergic reactions. Type A (acute allergy) when there is a momentary allergic reaction to certain food immediately after consumption (IgE immune response), or type B (delayed immune response or sensitivity) when the reaction to certain substance or food is delayed up to 72hours after consumption (IgG immune reaction).
Type B immunological reactions are often difficult to detect. Especially as the sensitivities can be to common foods such as wheat, milk, eggs that we use in abudance every day
Sensitivity or intolerance to certain food not only causes an allergic mmunological reaction but number of other reactions that can cause symptoms to acute and chronic ill health. Such food intolerances are often the result of a disturbace in the balance of the gut environment due to chronic stress and poor diet lifestyle. This may lead to gut permeability a syndrome that is characterized by partially digested foods entering rhe blood stream. This may initiate a complex immune reaction which can lead to a wide variety of symptoms.
Abnormal food absorption can cause food addiction. Therefore people who crave certain foods very often may be sensitive to that particulate food. Food intolerance or sensitivity is measured by detection of immunoglobulin G (IgG) antibodies.
